Town & Country is Sutherland's trusted waste management partner, providing reliable garbage and recycling services to our residents. Billing Information

Garbage billing is through the City of Sutherland. Bills are issued quarterly (January, April, July, and October) and due on the 10th of the month. If the due date falls on a weekend or holiday, payments are accepted until 10:00 a.m. the next business day without penalty.

• Drop off at City Hall during office hours

• Use the drop box in the alley northwest of the R.L. Johannsen Center

Garbage Collection

Collection occurs every Thursday. Place your blue can at the curb by 7:00 a.m. with the wheels facing your house. Only items inside the can will be collected.

Recycling

Recycling is collected on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month. Use any container except the blue garbage can, and place it at the curb at least 5 feet away from your garbage can, as different trucks collect each type of waste. View what items are recyclable here.
