Sutherland's Fire & Ambulance Department is a unique combined volunteer force dedicated to protecting our community. Our highly trained team responds to emergencies ranging from fires and accidents to medical calls and ensures swift response times. Our members can serve on either the Fire or Ambulance teams, or both, making us a versatile emergency response unit.

We welcome new members to join our dedicated team! Firefighter training is provided locally, and EMT certification is available after 6 months of service. We meet on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month, host community events like our annual Thanksgiving meal and Fireman's Bingo, and always appreciate community support. Donations can be made at City Hall or through GovPayNet.com (PLC #4569).
